ORTHOPEDIC ASSESSMENT SKILLS FOR MASSAGE THERAPISTS: UPPER BODY
Orthopedic Assessment tests are designed to evaluate individuals for musculoskeletal impairment. They assist the massage therapist to identify a specific area of injury and aid in the diagnosis and treatment plan of the injured individual.
In this seminar Stuart will focus on the important physical assessment procedures of the upper body and piece together effective treatment rationale enabling the best possible opportunity for resolution. Stuart will cover Subjective Assessment, Observation, Tests and Palpation. Tests will include passive and active range-of-motion and orthopedic special testing.
This seminar will enable the student and or practitioners to use the system immediately in a constructive way.
