About Us

Continuing Professional Development

Continuing professional development is an important and integral part of being professional. It is the means by which members of an Association or Registration Board/College maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, expertise and competence, and develop the personal and professional qualities required throughout their lives as a professional. We currently provide both events and products servicing Massage Therapists, Myotherapists, Remedial Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists and other Natural Therapists.

Complementary Health Seminars is also home to the Internationally taught cupping therapy – Myofascial Cupping Technique™. Cupping therapy is a fabulous tool for any health practitioner working with soft tissue.

Complementary Health Seminars aims to provide such opportunities to members of various Associations and Registration Boards both in Australia and abroad.

The Complementary Health Seminars Story – a brief insight…
Complementary Health Seminars (CHS) was founded by David Sheehan in

2004 with an aim to provide professional education to manual therapists while offering practitioner quality products via the MyoPro brand which includes balms, massage creams and cupping therapy accessories.

CHS promotes David’s own style of evidence-based cupping for the myofascia of the body (Myofascial Cupping Technique™) which is taught in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, Ireland and the USA. David’s specific focus using the technique is addressing scar tissue, particularly hypertrophic and post operative.

From time to time CHS promotes other leaders in the manual therapy space for face to face workshops and online experiences including the annual International Soft Tissue Therapy Virtual Summit which attracts both presenters worldwide as well as a large global audience.
